The Sweetwater Mountain Range is under attack by exclusionary elitists who want to make it Wilderness.  It is also NOT in the current inventory of the USFS as a road, so it could go away for this reason alone. Rain clouds moisten the horizon, as viewed from Mt. Patterson,
on top of the Sweetwater Mountains.

Near the old 1880's town of Belfort is this little pond that just loves
to reflect the building clouds of the Sweetwater Mountains.

At the base of the mountain, the desert provides some spectacular sunsets.
