I called this gal, Big Dummy, because while I sat for hours (in Katmai National Park) trying to photograph her catching a salmon, she never got one! Worse yet, I don't think the fish were even in the river at the time. But hey, when you're an Alaskan Brown Bear, you can pretty much spend your days as you choose. She was fun to photograph, no matter.
